Lions Cup Moot
We aim to make mooting accessible for all undergraduate students.
About
The Lions Cup National Undergraduate Mooting Competition was co-founded by Fallon Burns, founder of the Paralegal Cup, along with Jen Lorestani and Jasmine Sangha, both alumnae of York University. Hosted annually at Osgoode Hall Law School, the competition has grown to become a premier event in the undergraduate mooting community.
Now entering its 8th annual iteration, the Lions Cup Moot is dedicated to advancing undergraduate students’ oral advocacy skills by providing a platform where aspiring legal professionals can develop their abilities in a supportive and stimulating environment. The competition attracts participants from colleges and universities across Canada, offering them a unique opportunity to engage in high-level legal argumentation, receive valuable feedback from experienced legal professionals, and network with lawyers, judges, and fellow students.
